The number of COVID-19 infections is rising in the UK
COVID-19 cases keep on growing, and countries are bound to
take measures to stop the spike.
The British government is set to introduce new restrictions
as of today, with the country now working under a "three-tier" system,
dividing the country into three categories based on the severity of the
infection rate.
Cities as Liverpool and Manchester, and most of the country's
northern part, will undergo the strictest measures. The media reports that pubs,
restaurants, and gyms have been the epicenters of infections.
The current
restrictions limit gatherings to six people, while pubs and restaurants have to
close at 10 PM.
More about the matter will be reported by the country's
prime minister Boris Johnson, in a televised statement.
