Bayer impressed with its quarterly results

The promising figures made Bayer back its full-year outlook

The German pharmaceutical company, Bayer, reported quarterly figures that came ahead of the estimates.

The first quarter of the year revealed an EPS of €2.59 on revenues of €12.33 billion. Analysts were looking for an EPS of €2.47 and revenue of €12 billion.

For 2021, Bayer reiterated its sales expectations of €42 billion - €43 billion.

After the report, Bayer stock price added 4.88%. Year-to-date, its shares gained 16%.
