McDonald’s releases good same-store quarterly sales

McDonald’s got a boost from its collaboration with Travis Scott

McDonald’s– the world-renowned fast-food chain has released the quarterly figures.

According to the report, McDonald’s same-store sales rose 4.6% in Q3, as the company sold more Big Macs and McNuggets for dinner. The increase has been boosted in September by the collaboration with the famous rapper Travis Scott, the company reporting the highest monthly increase in same-store sales in a decade.

On the other hand, the European same-store sales fell 4.4% in Q3, while in China and Brazil, sales shrank by 10.1%. Despite the mixed numbers, McDonald’s is increasing its dividends by 3% to $1.29 a share.

Following the announcement, the company’s stock price grew 1%. Year-to-date, McDonald’s share price gained over 16%.
