The market reacted positively upon results
German fashion house Hugo Boss posted Q3
2020 figures that came above the consensus but also fell short of expectations.
Hugo’s EPS came in at €0.04 topping the forecasted loss of €0.14
per share, while revenue was seen at €533 million, just below the €551.8
million previously promoted.
Sales dropped all over the world. In the States, a 41%
decrease to €73 million was reported, while in China they were down by 14% to
€76 million. In Europe, the figures came in at €369 million, after falling 21%.
Hugo Boss didn’t make any remarks invoking future
uncertainties that are brought by the pandemic.
Following the news, the company’s stock price went up 2.8%.
